Knowledge Is Power
There is no room for fear.
It never ceases to amaze me how so-called Christian leaders continue to deny women the opportunity to explore and express themselves and learn of other cultures and to consider that it might strengthen their faith instead of weakening it. It never ceases to amaze me how immediately men of the faith of Christianity jump to conclusions and condemnation when someone does something other than what they expect. It's no wonder so many women of the Christian faith continue to live alone, without love or knowledge, true knowledge, of what they believe or to even believe in themselves and their own God-breathed power and influence.
It reminds me there was a time any black person learning to read, especially beyond the Bible, a threat.
Just because you do not know or understand a thing does not mean it is not good, faith-full or valued. Everything non-Christian is not demonic. Everything claimed Christian is not spiritual. In ALL your getting, get an understanding. ALL. Learn to listen. Learn to read and search for deeper meaning. Stop surfing the surface, laying claim only to sleight of hand, deceptive sound and time-tested methods of ignorance and control. The Bible is more than a book. It is a book of life. What does it say about you to profess belief in it and have no connection to life itself? What does it say about those who punk out spiritually by complacency, omission and inaction? Some folk are so deep, they drown.
